Dr Brittany Wright

I am a Trust CPD Lead and education consultant based in the United Kingdom. Alongside this, I am a Convenor for the BERA Early Career Researcher Network. I previously taught across PGCE Primary and PGCE Secondary programmes as a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Centre for Teacher Education at the University of Warwick. I have also taught on BA Primary Education and MA Education degrees. As an education consultant, I have supported schools in North London and Leicestershire, focusing on professional development of teachers and leading on curriculum development in English from KS2-4. I have previously served as Head of English in a large secondary school, but I have also led on provision for ‘higher-ability learners’ and coordinated widening participation programmes focused on supporting learners from diverse backgrounds in pursuing further and higher education.
